At Fragranceryhandm, we are committed to ensuring your satisfaction with our blinds and curtains. This Return Policy outlines the terms and conditions for returns, exchanges, and refunds of our products.

Return Period

You have the right to return eligible products within 14 days of delivery. The return period begins on the day you receive the product. To be eligible for a return, you must notify us of your intention to return the product within this 14-day period.

For defective products, the return period is extended to 30 days from the date of delivery, provided the defect is reported promptly upon discovery.

Return Conditions

To be eligible for a return, products must meet the following conditions:

  • Products must be in their original, unused condition
  • Products must be in their original packaging, if applicable
  • All components, accessories, and documentation must be included
  • Products must not show signs of wear, damage, or alteration
  • You must provide proof of purchase or order confirmation

We reserve the right to assess the condition of returned products and may refuse returns that do not meet these conditions.

Return Shipping Costs

Return shipping costs are handled as follows:

  • For defective or damaged products: We cover all return shipping costs
  • For products with measurement errors on our part: We cover all return shipping costs
  • For returns due to change of mind: You are responsible for return shipping costs
  • For incorrect orders sent by us: We cover all return shipping costs

We recommend using a tracked shipping method for returns to ensure safe delivery. We are not responsible for items lost or damaged during return shipping if you choose an untracked method.

Custom Orders

Since our blinds and curtains are custom-manufactured to your specifications, custom orders cannot be returned or refunded once manufacturing has begun. We work closely with you during the consultation and design phase to ensure your complete satisfaction before production starts.

Defective Products

If you receive a product that is defective or damaged, please contact us immediately. We will arrange for inspection and, if confirmed, provide a replacement or repair at no additional cost. Defective products must be reported within 14 days of delivery.

Measurement Errors

If there is an error in measurements that results in a product that does not fit, we will work with you to resolve the issue. This may include remanufacturing the product at our discretion, provided the error is reported within 7 days of delivery.

Return Process

To initiate a return for an eligible product, follow these steps:

  1. Contact us within the specified return period via email or phone
  2. Provide your order number, product details, and reason for return
  3. Wait for our approval and receive return authorization and instructions
  4. Prepare the product in its original condition and packaging
  5. Ship the product back using the provided return address and shipping method
  6. Wait for confirmation of receipt and processing

Once we receive your returned product, we will inspect it and process your return within 5-7 business days. You will be notified of the outcome via email.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return:

  • Custom-manufactured products once production has begun
  • Personalized or made-to-measure items that cannot be resold
  • Products that have been used, installed, or altered
  • Products damaged due to misuse, negligence, or improper handling by the customer
  • Items marked as final sale or clearance
  • Products that cannot be returned for hygiene reasons once opened

Exceptions may apply for defective products or errors on our part, subject to our assessment.

General Legal Requirements

This Return Policy is provided in accordance with UK consumer protection laws, including:

  • The Consumer Rights Act 2015, which provides statutory rights for consumers
  • The Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 for distance selling
  • The Sale of Goods Act 1979, ensuring products are of satisfactory quality

Order Cancellation Policy

You have the right to cancel your order before it is dispatched or before manufacturing begins:

  • For standard products: You may cancel at any time before dispatch without penalty
  • For custom orders: You may cancel before manufacturing begins, subject to any non-refundable deposit as specified in your order confirmation
  • Once manufacturing has begun for custom orders, cancellation may not be possible, and you may be liable for the full order value
  • To cancel, contact us immediately via email or phone with your order number

We will confirm your cancellation in writing. If you have already paid, we will process your refund according to our refund procedure.

Refund Procedure

When a refund is approved, we will process it as follows:

  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase
  • Refunds are typically processed within 5-7 business days after we receive and inspect the returned product
  • Please allow additional time for your bank or credit card company to process the refund, which may take up to 10 business days
  • Partial refunds may apply if the returned product does not meet return conditions or if only part of an order is returned
  • You will receive email confirmation once the refund has been processed

The following may be deducted from refunds:

  • Return shipping costs, if applicable and not covered by us
  • Any restocking fees, if clearly stated at the time of purchase
  • Non-refundable deposits for custom orders, as specified in your order confirmation
